Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a psychiatric health‑care facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephonic and in-person risk assessment to assist physicians in identifying the appropriate level of care for potential patients.
• Coordinate the referral and intake process; facilitate admission and maintain communication with referral sources, families, patients and unit staff.
• Work with Business Office on patient financial data, verification and insurance benefits; coordinate with UR for certification of patients admitted.
