Job summary

The Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation seeks a Referent Relations Specialist to provide intake, comprehensive assessment, and case management support across the system of care. You will guide referents, patients, and stakeholders to the best clinical solution based on needs, urgency, and financial considerations.

You will manage intake from first contact through admission and discharge while collaborating with admissions, scheduling, and treatment teams to meet expectations and communications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social services, business or related field or equivalent experience.
• Associate degree with 4 years related work experience.
• HSD/GED with 6 years related work experience.
• In-depth knowledge of chemical dependency and 12-Step Programs
• Minimum 2 years customer services or sales experience

Responsibilities

• Provide intake and comprehensive assessment services to prospective clients.
• Assess, screen, manage, and convert callers to the appropriate program.
• Manage intake from initial conversation through admission and discharge processes.
• Support referents after admissions and coordinate with scheduling, admissions, and treatment teams.
• Build and expand relationships with referents through outbound calling and face-to-face meetings.
