Job summary

The Assessment & Referral Clinician Therapist at Perimeter Healthcare in Springfield, MO handles a high volume of inquiries, conducts intake interviews, coordinates referrals and admissions, and communicates with patients, families and referral sources. Working under the Director of Intake, you will maintain bed boards and track assessments to support timely care delivery.

You will collaborate with clinical and nursing staff, support facility goals, and participate in hospital programs.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from a Registered Nurse accredited school or have a Master’s Degree in Psychology, Behavioral Health or related field.
• Experience in Behavioral Health assessment and/or treatment preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience on an inpatient Behavioral Health Unit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake interviews to establish appropriate level of care.
• Receive inquiry calls and perform initial intake screening for service viability.
• Coordinate referrals and admissions with patients, families and sources.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, staff and business office to support care delivery.
• Maintain bed boards and assessment boards and track admissions.
