Qualifications

• Paralegal Certificate or degree is strongly preferred.
• Or 1+ year experience working in a law office.
• Must communicate effectively over the phone, email and in person.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Strong attention to detail is essential.

Responsibilities

• Interview potential clients who have been victims of injuries (auto accidents, negligence, slip and falls, dog bites, etc.).
• Gather supporting documents (medical records, police reports, incident reports).
• Work with clients, litigation paralegals and the attorney to ensure a smooth process.

A Personal Injury Plaintiff Law Firm is hiring an Intake Paralegal. The position will provide a remote hybrid work schedule (2-3 days from home).

The Intake Paralegal is responsible for interviewing potential clients that have been a victim of an injury; auto accident, negligence, slip and fall, dog bite, etc. Gather all supporting documents (medical records, police reports, incident reports, etc). Work closely with the client, litigation paralegals and personal injury attorney to ensure a smooth process. Coordinate appointments, assist in scheduling meetings, etc.
