Job summary

GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF THE GULF COAST INC seeks an Intake Specialist to serve as the welcoming first point of contact for employees, participants, callers, and visitors, explaining the agency's mission and connecting individuals with internal and community resources.

You will conduct comprehensive intake, review responses, and route referrals to program staff, while accurately entering data into the program services database and supporting orientations and administrative tasks with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in customer service or administrative support preferred.
• Experience with intake, orientations, or participant assessments encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive intake with participants to identify eligibility for programs.
• Review intake responses and refer participants to appropriate program staff.
• Accurately enter participant data, services provided, and referrals into database systems.
• Conduct new hire orientations for Goodwill Gulf Coast employees per procedures.
• Greet visitors, provide information, and maintain visitor logs following security procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of participant and employee information per agency policies and CARF requirements.
