Paycom - ATS is seeking an LIHEAP Intake Clerk at the KCEOC Main Office in Gray, KY. The role involves assisting the LIHEAP program, organizing sign-ups, recruiting volunteers and processing applications, while handling inquiries from clients.
You will enter data to process LIHEAP applications, disseminate information by fax or phone, and maintain files, serving as a key information referral source for community programs.
Assist in the LIHEAP Program including organization of sigh-up, recruitment of volunteers; and processing of applications, answering incoming calls and assisting clients with questions. Enter data into the computer in order to process LIHEAP applications. Disseminate necessary information via fax, phone or other required media. Assist with the processing and organization of program and client files. Serve as an information referral resource person for programs operated by KCEOC; be knowledgeable of community resource available; and assist the client in gaining eligible services from the agency as well as from existing community resources. Be aware of situations where KCEOC intervention services have enabled clients to overcome obstacles and are becoming or are self sufficient; report these situations per the Public Relations procedures. All other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or GED with some basic office, computer and phone skills. College courses in sociology, social work or psychology along with 3 to 5 years of work experience in social services or related field preferred. Experience in working with programs which directly serve the public also preferred.
