Job summary

Qualifications

• RN licensure if required by state.
• 1+ year of behavioral health intake experience preferred.
• Managed care pre-certification or utilization experience a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates intake, admission, and prior authorization processes for incoming patients.
• Performs insurance benefit verifications and communicates results to patients and staff.
• Supports call center duties during high volume periods, including processing admissions and verifying insurance.
• Provides ongoing assessment of patient status in admission and authorization processes.
• Communicates recommendations for level of care to physicians and families.
