Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Psychology, or related field.
• 3+ years in patient access or healthcare administration.
• Behavioral health/psychiatry settings preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare compliance.
• Experience with EHR systems for patient data.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients and families seeking neuromodulation services
• Conduct intake calls and gather patient, insurance, and clinical information
• Schedule and coordinate new patient consultations and follow-up appointments
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain authorizations as needed
• Address patient questions and barriers to accessing care
• Coordinate with physicians and staff to facilitate patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records in the EHR system
• Track referrals, scheduling, and clinic performance metrics
• Assist with process improvement initiatives to enhance patient access and satisfaction
