Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year in intake coordination, admissions, healthcare administration, or related role; behavioral health preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage high volume inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound calls with prompt, compassionate responses.
• Serve as the first point of contact and guide clients through next steps.
• Conduct preliminary screenings for urgency and program placement.
• Verify insurance coverage and enter data accurately.
• Coordinate and schedule intake assessments across facilities.
• Maintain confidential records of caller details, follow-ups, and outcomes.
• Provide crisis support and de-escalation when needed.
• Support intake operations by monitoring referrals and escalating issues.
• Collaborate with intake, admissions, recovery housing, and clinical teams.
