Fortune Society is seeking an Intake Coordinator to assess clients for program eligibility, complete intake forms, and discuss available services. The role includes referrals to Fortune programs and gathering resources to assist clients with appropriate support.
The ideal candidate will have strong counseling and organizational skills, proficient communication abilities, and experience with databases. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; position is in Long Island City, NY with standard weekday hours.

The Intake Coordinator assesses each client’s eligibility for Fortune services by thoroughly screening each client, completing the agency’s comprehensive intake package, discussing Fortune services and the eligibility criteria for each, and making appropriate referrals to all Fortune programs and services. In addition, The Coordinator will need to gather resources in order to assist our clients with appropriate referrals.
