Job summary

Vital Care Infusion Services seeks an onsite Billing Specialist in Meridian, MS to process referrals, optimize revenue, and reduce denials. You will credential and re-credential, manage contract submissions, and coordinate with franchise partners and departments to ensure timely billing and collections.

Strong MS Office and pharmacy software proficiency is required. Qualified candidates will support provider networks, verify benefits, obtain authorizations, and communicate financial obligations

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, listening, speaking, and writing English while influencing patients, caregivers, and payer representatives.
• Proven understanding of processes, systems, and techniques to ensure successful billing and collection with all payer types.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain complete records of activities and cases.
• Knowledge and skill in utilizing MS Office and pharmacy applications.

Responsibilities

• Review patient files for completeness and accuracy, identify and audit claims, ensure revenue opportunities are included, and submit billing to payers for reimbursement.
• Communicate with franchise partners and other departments regarding order intake status.
• Document account activity and schedule follow-ups to resolve outstanding claims issues.
• Obtain and verify benefits, process prior authorizations, and track responses from payers.
