Disability Rights Connecticut, Inc. (DRCT) is hiring an Intake Coordinator to organize day-to-day responses and triage for individuals seeking help with disability rights issues.

The role supports requests across abuse/neglect, education, housing, healthcare and more, reporting to the Legal Director and supervising intake staff. The position is full-time, in a fast-paced, cross-functional team, with benefits including health insurance options and 401k eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with individuals with disabilities to evaluate their request for assistance, including relevant facts and information.
• Document all contact and information in client services database in a timely manner.
• Oversee, assign, and/or directly respond to requests for assistance received by the office (e.g., by email, telephone, fax, mail, online, in-person) in a timely manner.
