Job summary

Disability Rights Connecticut seeks an Intake Coordinator to manage day-to-day responses to disability-related complaints and information requests. You will supervise the intake team and coordinate with attorneys for effective service delivery.

The role requires strong communication, organizational, and confidentiality skills, with experience in a fast-paced environment and a commitment to civil rights for people with disabilities.

Qualifications

• Four years’ relevant experience and at least two years of post-secondary education.
• SSA suitability and federal background/security clearance.
• Commitment to mission and values of Disability Rights Connecticut.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Triage and respond to requests for assistance from individuals with disabilities.
• Document interactions in client services databases and prepare reports for grants.
• Provide day-to-day supervision of intake staff under the Legal Director.
• Coordinate with attorneys and other agencies to refer services.
