Job summary

The Arc Connecticut is seeking an Executive Director to lead statewide advocacy, fundraising, and organizational strategy. The role oversees operations, finances, and governance while guiding local chapters and partnerships across Connecticut.

The successful candidate will be a strategic, engaging leader with a track record in fundraising, policy influence, and stakeholder collaboration, aligned with the mission of advancing opportunities for people with I/DD and their families.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of progressively responsible leadership experience in social or human services.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong fundraising capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, finances, compliance, and governance.
• Lead statewide advocacy and policy efforts.
• Support local chapters and build partnerships.
• Serve as the organization's primary spokesperson and fundraiser.
