Brightpoint is seeking an Intact Specialist to join our child welfare team in Chicago. You will manage a reduced caseload of families at risk and apply Solution-Based Casework with trauma-informed practices, collaborating with service providers to strengthen family well-being.

You will prepare court reports and testify when needed, attend in-person meetings, and pursue certifications within 90 days. This full-time hybrid role offers competitive pay and benefits in Cook County.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a closely related field is required.
• CWEL, CERAP, and CANS certification required or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Experience providing collaborative, strength-based services to kids and families preferred.
• Ability to attend in-person meetings and events as needed.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle required.

Aufgaben

• Maintain a reduced caseload of families referred for services following a DCFS investigation.
• Complete all modules of the Intact Family Services Training Series, including Solution Based Casework.
• Assess strengths and needs; implement SBC with fidelity for assigned families.
• Identify support systems and help families remain intact and out of DCFS care.
• Engage with families for needs assessment, service planning, and case coordination.
• Prepare court reports, attend court dates, and testify about best interests when required.
