Brightpoint seeks an Intact Specialist in Chicago (Hybrid: remote/in-office) to support families with trauma-informed, SBC-based case management. You will maintain a reduced caseload and collaborate across programs to keep children safe and families together in the community.

Your role involves assessing needs, coordinating services, testifying in juvenile court when needed, and engaging with service providers. A CWEL/CERAP/CANS path is required or achievable within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or closely related field.
• CWEL, CERAP, and CANS certification required or able to obtain within 90 days.
• Experience providing collaborative, strength-based services to kids and families preferred.
• Ability to attend in-person meetings and events as needed.
• Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable vehicle required.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a reduced caseload of families referred for services following a DCFS investigation.
• Complete all modules of the Intact Family Services Training Series, including SBC.
• Assess strengths and needs; plan services; monitor progress and coordinate care.
• Engage with families to ensure they remain intact and out of DCFS custody.
• Prepare court reports, attend court dates, and testify when requested.
• Schedule and complete home visits with flexibility for clients' schedules.
