Brightpoint seeks an Intact Specialist to support families in Champaign and surrounding counties through Trauma-informed, SBC-based casework. You’ll handle a reduced caseload of cases arising from child welfare investigations and collaborate with community partners to plan services and monitor progress.

You’ll provide testimony in Juvenile Court and ensure safety while maintaining strong engagement with families. A 90-day credential timeline applies for CWEL/CERAP/CANS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a closely related field required.
• CWEL, CERAP, and CANS certification required or the ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Experience providing collaborative, strength-based services to kids and families preferred.
• Ability to attend in-person meetings and events as needed.
• Valid driver's license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle required.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a reduced caseload of families referred for services after a DCFS investigation.
• Complete all modules of the Intact Family Services Training Series, including SBC.
• Assess strengths and supports; implement Solution Based Casework with fidelity.
• Identify support systems to help families remain intact and out of DCFS care.
• Engage comprehensively in needs assessment, service planning, case coordination, and monitoring.
• Prepare court reports, attend court dates, and testify when requested.
• Schedule home visits and conduct unannounced visits as policy indicates.
