Job summary

Brightpoint invites you to join a mission-driven team delivering child and family well-being services in Champaign, IL. The Intact Specialist focuses on families at risk, using Solution-Based Casework with a reduced caseload to keep children safe and maintain family harmony.

Training supports career progression toward Advanced Specialist. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Social Work or related field, CWEL/CERAP/CANS certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days), a valid driver's license,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a closely related field is required.
• Possession or ability to obtain CWEL, CERAP, and CANS certifications within 90 days of hire.
• Experience delivering collaborative, strength-based services to families preferred.
• Must be able to attend in-person meetings and events.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a reduced caseload of families referred for services following a DCFS investigation.
• Complete all modules of the Intact Family Services Training Series, including Solution-Based Casework.
• Assess strengths and natural supports; implement Service-Based Casework with fidelity.
• Work with families to identify support systems and sustain family integrity.
• Prepare court reports, attend court dates, and testify as needed.
