Brightpoint, a longtime leader in child welfare, seeks an Intact Specialist in Illinois to support families under the Intact Family Services program. You will manage a reduced caseload, coordinate services, and provide testimony in court as needed to keep children safe.

Hybrid work arrangement with travel to Mond, Madison, and St. Clair Counties is expected. A CWEL-related certification within 90 days is required or in progress; prior experience with trauma-informed practice is preferred.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field required.
• CWEL, CERAP, and CANS certification required or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Experience providing collaborative, strength-based services to kids and families preferred.
• Ability to attend in-person meetings and events as needed.
• Valid driver's license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle required.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain a reduced caseload of families referred for services following a DCFS investigation.
• Complete all Intact Family Services Training Series modules, including Solution Based Casework.
• Assess strengths and plan services using Solution Based Casework fidelity.
• Identify support systems to keep families intact and out of DCFS care.
• Engage families with needs assessment, service planning, and care coordination.
• Prepare court reports, attend court dates, and testify as needed.
• Schedule home visits and complete unannounced visits as policy indicates.
