Baylor Scott & White Orthopedic and Spine Hospital – Arlington is seeking an Insurance Verifier to join our onsite team. You will interface with patients, families, physicians and staff to verify benefits and obtain necessary authorizations, determining funds due at admission.

The role requires at least two years in hospital insurance verification, 45 wpm typing, and solid computer skills (Word/Excel). We offer comprehensive benefits and a solid retirement plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ previous experience hospital insurance verification required.
• Forty-five (45) wpm typing skills required.
• Medical terminology and computer experience beneficial.
• Good communication skills.
• Basic computer Knowledge-Word and Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interface with patients and families, physicians and staff.
• Update patient demographics/information in system.
• Verify insurance benefits, obtaining proper authorization from insurance carrier.
• Determine what funds to collect upon admission.

• This is an Onsite role at our Arlington Hospital. Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm.
• Interface with patients and families, physicians and staff.
