Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Orthopedic and Spine Hospital – Arlington in Arlington, TX is hiring a PRN Certified Nurse Aide for night shifts. The role involves assisting patients under RN guidance, supporting with mobility, and handling basic service needs in a fast-paced orthopedic and spine care unit.

The position requires CNAs with CPR certification, a high school diploma, and strong communication and customer service abilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CNA license required.
• Current CPR required.
• 1-year acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Good communication and people skills.
• Excellent telephone and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Interface with visitors, patients, family, and physicians on phone and in person.
• Performs clerical duties including distribution of messages.
• Performs clinical duties, under the direction of an RN or LVN, including assisting patients to the restroom, removing IV catheters, etc.
• Cleans rooms if needed.
• Assists RNs as instructed.
• Any other duties as instructed by supervisor.

Schedule: PRN (As Needed), 7:00pm-7:00am, Approximately 1-2 shifts per bi-weekly pay period

Certified Nurse Aide Post-Surgical Unit at Baylor Scott & White Orthopedic and Spine Hospital – Arlington:
