Grow Through Life Counseling in San Diego is seeking an Insurance Verification Specialist to join our clinician-led team. The role focuses on accurate claims submission, insurance follow-up, and coordinating with billing and clinical staff to support client care.

Qualifications

• Exceptional time management and organizational skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication, with HIPAA privacy awareness.
• Bilingual fluency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and submit completed claims through TherapyNotes.
• Daily collections of patient responsibility balances.
• Process incoming ERAs; verify payment accuracy and contract compliance.
• Contact insurers regarding discrepancies and appeals for denials.
• Handle patient and insurer communications via multiple channels.
• Verify client insurance eligibility and benefits for copays/deductibles.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure timely authorizations and visits.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to clinical protocols.
