Job summary

OCI Insurance & Financial Services in Omaha, NE is seeking a detail oriented and customer-focused Financial Solutions Specialist to support our team by managing client communications, processing insurance applications, and assisting with underwriting and quoting.

You’ll collaborate with the Financial Solutions Department, Account Executives (AEs), and Business Development (BD) teams to ensure our clients have the best possible experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in life insurance, long-term care, or annuities is a plus, with eagerness to learn.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; proactive attitude.
• Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales support tools.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to build and sustain relationships.

Responsibilities

• Quote Management: Run term life, juvenile life, permanent life, disability, index annuities and MYGA quotes.
• Follow up on outstanding quotes to ensure everything is on track.
• Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal sales reps and carrier partners.
• Client Support: Assist clients by completing insurance applications on behalf of our Financial Solutions Sales teams.
• Communication: Be the go-to person for returning voicemails and emails from agents.
• Contracting Assistance: Work with contracting team to handle carrier requests and follow up with agents.
• CRM Management: Keep CRM up to date with quotes, applications, and communications.
• Certification and Licensing: Obtain insurance license within 6–12 months; complete required certifications.
