Job summary

HUB International is seeking an Account Manager to manage a portfolio of commercial lines accounts, acting as the primary contact between clients and insurance carriers. You will market to carriers, prepare quotes and proposals, and respond quickly to policy inquiries.

You will maintain renewal controls, verify policy details, and keep accurate account files. The role requires prior insurance experience, a high school diploma (college preferred), and comfort using Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Previous insurance experience is strongly preferred.
• High school diploma/GED required (college preferred).
• Ability to interact with all levels within the organization.
• Comfort working at a computer with office software (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for commercial lines accounts and carrier staff.
• Market to carriers, prepare quotes and proposals.
• Respond to policy inquiries via email and phone in a timely manner.
• Maintain renewal controls on expirations and binders.
• Check policies/endorsements/audits for accuracy and keep files organized.
