Job summary

Redwood Credit Union is seeking an Insurance Administrator to support Members in sales and service of ancillary products. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, accurate quotes, and timely processing of insurance transactions.

Ideal candidates hold a Property & Casualty license, with Life license a plus, and can manage paperwork, multi-task, and collaborate with the Insurance Department to meet sales goals.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of financial and insurance products and services.
• Proficient PC skills including word processing and spreadsheets.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle telephone inquiries and insurance information.
• Ability to manage paperwork and multi-task.
• Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
• Call Members referred to the insurance agency.
• Assist with worksheets for quotes and claims.
• Process insurance sales, quotes, and renewals with Account Managers.
• Update reports and maintain customer information.
• Follow up to obtain information for accurate quotes.
• Complete daily, weekly, monthly sales tracking reports.
• Promote and educate Members on ancillary products.
