Job summary

Members Insurance is seeking an experienced Insurance Service Specialist to join the team at our headquarters in Moline, IL. The role emphasizes delivering exceptional member service and accurate handling of policy changes, billing questions, and new business processing.

Two levels are available: Service Specialist (2+ years) or Senior Service Specialist (5+ years). Compensation will reflect experience and internal pay equity. This position is based on River Drive in Moline, IL.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to members and potential clients on inquiries including policy changes, coverage or billing questions, claims questions or inquiries on existing policies.
• Document all member interactions and requests completely and accurately.
• Obtain signatures on new business policies and process new business files checking for coverage accuracy, forms and signatures, correct billing information and completion of post issuance forms and requests.
• Thoroughly review existing members policies and periodically shop around with carriers for best pricing, offering the option to rewrite with another carrier if beneficial to the member.
• Conduct all transactions in accordance with state insurance laws, agency and IHMVCU policy.

The Insurance Service Specialist provides exceptional member service to existing and new policy holders aligning with the Pathfinder culture of the credit union. We have a successful and busy insurance business, so we are looking for someone with a service-oriented demeanor and a detail-oriented work style.

We are hiring for either a Service Specialist (2 plus years of experience) or a Senior Service Specialist (5+ years of experience.) Title and compensation will be based on experience.

Some Of The Key Responsibilities Include

Physical Requirements

Salary: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
