Job summary

Georgia Farm Bureau Insurance is seeking licensed agents for county-based, full-time positions with statewide opportunities. This commission-based role requires Georgia Property/Casualty and Life/Health licenses and a valid driver's license; licensure is actively pursued where needed.

You will sell and service a broad range of insurance products, meet sales goals, network in the community, and help families protect assets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• Valid Georgia driver’s license.
• Must have passed Georgia Property/Casualty and Life/Health insurance exams (License Required).
• Actively pursuing licensure through the Georgia Department of Insurance.
• Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
• Self-motivated, community-minded, and eager to grow.

Responsibilities

• Sell and service farm, crop, auto, homeowners, commercial, life, medical, and dental insurance.
• Meet quarterly sales and retention goals.
• Consult with clients to explain policies, analyze coverage needs, and recommend solutions.
• Prospect new customers and grow membership through community networking.
• Ensure policy documentation and service requirements are completed accurately.
• Inspect properties to assess risk and recommend corrective actions.
• Promote Georgia Farm Bureau Insurance through local advertising and community involvement.
• Engage in continuous professional development and product training.
• Foster strong relationships between county offices and the home office.
