Qualifications

• Experience using accounting or sales-related software is beneficial.
• Willingness to learn about the insurance industry, programs, and regulations affecting policyholders.
• Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Must be a superb communicator able to analyze complex ideas like insurance programs; customer service experience helpful.
• Candidates must have or be willing to obtain an insurance license.

Responsibilities

• B2B cold calling meetings with potential clients to educate them on supplemental insurance offerings.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, providing service and growing your book of business.
• Update reports, records, and bookkeeping systems to report progress toward monthly sales goals.
• Tailor risk management strategies and client profiles to reflect each customer's needs.
• Stay abreast of changes to rules or policies to amend insurance programs for clients.
• Implement marketing strategies including cold calling and networking while managing current clients.
• Conduct meetings with new and potential clients to present the best policies.
