Job summary

TGG Accounting in West Caldwell, NJ is seeking an Entry-Level Insurance Sales Representative. You will learn the insurance industry from an experienced broker and begin building a client book with no prior license required.

Base pay is $15.92 per hour plus commission, with an estimated annual earning potential of $65,000–$105,000+ depending on performance. You’ll receive hands-on training, mentorship, and a path to long-term growth, plus health insurance after 90 days and 401(k) eligibility.

Qualifications

• No prior insurance experience or license required.
• Recent graduates encouraged to apply.
• College degree preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop a long-term book of business.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound cold calls and emails to generate new business opportunities.
• Identify and connect with business owners, HR professionals, and decision-makers regarding group health insurance.
• Schedule introductory meetings to learn about prospective clients' needs.
• Prepare and deliver follow-up presentations outlining insurance and benefits solutions.
• Guide clients through the sales process from outreach to closing.
• Conduct virtual and in-person sales meetings to develop new business.
• Maintain prospect records and manage sales activity in Excel and Outlook.
• Learn the group insurance offerings through mentorship from the owner.
