Job summary

State Farm agency is seeking an Agent Team Member to blend customer service with sales, building relationships with new and existing clients and guiding them to appropriate auto, home, life, and other insurance solutions.

You will gain hands-on experience in a successful State Farm office, with potential pathways toward agency ownership, earnings via salary plus commission, and opportunities for advancement. Training and development are provided.

Qualifications

• Sales experience preferred (outside/inside).
• Track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred.
• Interest in marketing products based on customer needs.
• Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain).
• Life and Health license (must be able to obtain).
• Irregular working hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers as needed.
• Use a needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
• Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
