Job summary

First Tech Federal Credit Union is seeking an Insurance Sales Agent to be the first contact for prospective clients and to sell insurance products that protect members from financial loss. You will maintain relationships with policyholders, advise of changes in coverage, and quote renewals while providing risk management guidance.

On-Site in Fort Collins + Boulder Experience Center, CO, with a target compensation of $34,800 annually plus potential draw and incentives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years' sales and customer service experience in insurance with a proven sales record.
• Ability to analyze data and guide clients based on risk tolerance.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage time to meet deadlines.
• Strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, or in person and offer suitable insurance solutions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders in the insurance department and credit union.
• Prepare proposals and follow up with members; maintain up-to-date electronic files per regulations.
• Manage policy expiration dates and provide renewal proposals.
• Keep up-to-date knowledge of insurance trends, products, procedures, and policies.
