Farmers Insurance is seeking a motivated Insurance Sales Advisor to join our agency team in Michigan. You will generate new business, meet with customers to assess needs, and recommend coverage including Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial policies.

The role emphasizes building relationships, meeting sales goals, and ongoing professional development. The ideal candidate has 1+ year of sales or insurance experience, strong communication skills, and a willingness to obtain necessary licenses.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales, customer service, or insurance experience preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence with outbound calls and sales conversations.
• Goal-oriented approach with accountability for performance.
• Strong organization and time-management skills.
• Willingness to learn and apply coaching.
• Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health license preferred, or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through prospecting, outbound outreach, lead follow-up, and referrals.
• Meet with customers to understand their insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage.
• Sell and cross-sell insurance products including Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial policies.
• Build and maintain customer relationships through consistent communication and follow-up.
• Work toward individual sales goals and contribute to overall agency growth.
• Follow up with quotes, prospects, and existing customers to identify additional opportunities.
• Stay current on insurance products, services, and compliance requirements.
• Use CRM tools to manage leads, customer information, and follow-up activity.
• Participate in team meetings, training, and sales development activities.
