Job summary

Farmers Insurance is seeking a motivated Insurance Sales Advisor to join our Jackson, MI agency. This role blends sales, customer service, lead follow-up, and consultative insurance advising to help clients find solutions that fit their needs.

With at least 1 year of sales or customer-facing experience, you will generate new business, retain clients, and work toward production goals while learning products, systems, and licensing requirements. Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in sales, insurance, or a customer-facing role.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfort with outbound calls and other forms of customer communication.
• A competitive, goal-oriented mindset.
• The ability to learn new products, systems, and compliance requirements.
• Strong organization and follow-through.
• Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health licensing preferred, or willingness to become licensed.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through outbound calling, lead follow-up, networking, and referrals.
• Connect with prospective customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
• Sell and cross-sell insurance products including Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial lines.
• Follow up consistently with open quotes, warm leads, and prospective customers.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service and ongoing communication.
• Work toward individual production and sales goals.
• Keep customer information, leads, follow-ups, and policy records organized through CRM tools.
• Participate in team meetings, sales training, and professional development opportunities.
