Job summary

The Auto Club Group in Castle Rock, CO is seeking Insurance Sales Agents to drive new business, retain members, and grow our insurance book through competitive product offerings. Agents use consultative sales techniques and product knowledge to assess needs, recommend coverage, close sales, and build lasting relationships with members.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, active Property & Casualty license, Life license, and at least 1 year in sales or customer

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Current Property & Casualty Insurance license is required.
• Current Life Insurance Sales license is required.
• Must qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments.
• Obtain Health and Accident licenses where applicable.
• 1+ year of sales or customer service experience.
• Strong sales skills with a history of developing, tracking, following up on and closing leads.
• Advanced consultative selling techniques with thorough product knowledge.
• Strong phone sales and prospecting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ambition, motivation and drive.
• Proficiency with desktop systems including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Uses sales techniques and product knowledge to identify customer-specific needs to generate new sales, retain insureds, and grow book.
• Overcomes objections to close sales and retain insured.
• Meet or exceed targets as defined in incentive plan.
• Conduct insurance reviews to identify suitable products.
• Assess risk and recommend coverage, quote, bind and issue policies.
• Engage in market-based interactions to solicit new business and build rapport.
