Qualifications

Licensed and in good standing with Ohio Department of Insurance; we assist license if needed.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior agent, customer service or sales experience.
Strong communication, presentation, and sales skills.
Passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

Self-generate sales leads from engagement initiatives within defined territory, and from an existing book of business.
Proactively contact leads, schedule appointments, quote and place coverage.
Determine client needs by researching current coverage and options, and grow through product sales, cross-sales, referrals, circle of influence, and renewals.
Meet or speak with clients daily, providing information about policies, and answering questions related to coverage and premiums.
Obtain underwriting approval through completion of coverage application.
Expand professional skill sets by attending regular workshops, networking events, and professional organizations.
