Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing with Ohio Department of Insurance; we assist license if needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior agent, customer service or sales experience.
• Strong communication, presentation, and sales skills.
• Passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Self-generate sales leads from engagement initiatives within defined territory, and from an existing book of business.
• Proactively contact leads, schedule appointments, quote and place coverage.
• Determine client needs by researching current coverage and options, and grow through product sales, cross-sales, referrals, circle of influence, and renewals.
• Meet or speak with clients daily, providing information about policies, and answering questions related to coverage and premiums.
• Obtain underwriting approval through completion of coverage application.
• Expand professional skill sets by attending regular workshops, networking events, and professional organizations.
