Job summary

Farmers Insurance is seeking an Agency Sales Advisor in Long Beach to grow the business by connecting with prospects, understanding their needs, and recommending insurance solutions.

You'll earn base pay plus uncapped commissions, plus paid training and mentorship. The role includes ongoing coaching, development through the University of Farmers, and opportunities to advance with scheduling flexibility.

Qualifications

• No prior insurance experience required
• Sales, retail, hospitality, banking or customer service backgrounds considered
• Willingness to obtain required licenses
• Agency sales role with coaching and training

Responsibilities

• Connect with prospective customers through agency-provided leads, referrals, outbound calls, and networking
• Ask questions to understand each customer’s needs, priorities, and current coverage
• Provide quotes and recommend Auto, Home, Life, Business, and other insurance solutions
• Follow up consistently with prospects and maintain an organized sales pipeline
• Build relationships that lead to long-term customers, referrals, and additional opportunities
• Cross-sell coverage to help customers protect different areas of their lives
• Work toward individual and agency production goals
• Participate in ongoing coaching, sales training, and professional development
