Job summary

HITT Contracting seeks an Associate, Insurance & Risk Management to support enterprise-wide P&C programs, renewals, surety, and captive insurance operations. You will coordinate with brokers, carriers, and project teams, and help manage COIs and subcontracts insurance requirements.

The candidate should have 2–3 years in commercial insurance, a related bachelor’s degree, and strong Excel and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent work experience accepted.
• 2–3 years of experience in commercial insurance, risk management, surety, or related field.
• Professional designation (CPCU, ARM, or CRIS) or active P&C license preferred, or willingness to pursue one.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to read policy language and contract insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support administration of enterprise-wide P&C programs (GL, workers' comp, auto, property, umbrella, professional, pollution, cyber, management liability).
• Assist renewals by gathering underwriting data, preparing submissions, and comparing coverage/pricing options.
• Coordinate day-to-day requests with brokers, carriers, and loss control consultants.
• Prepare bid, performance, and payment bond requests and maintain bond log.
• Review contracts and track COIs and subcontractor insurance compliance.
• Report to Senior Manager and support captive regulatory filings and audits.
