Clark Hill PLC is seeking an Attorney with 2+ years of practice experience to join its Insurance and Reinsurance group. Candidates can work remotely but must be licensed in the state in which they reside.

Skills

This Attorney will represent both international and domestic insurers and reinsurers on issues relating to pre-underwriting risk assessments, claim management and coverage opinions for professional liability risks in the U.S. The ideal candidate will have experience in insurance coverage, medical malpractice, or mass torts. All candidates must possess the following skillsets:

  • The ability to present complex liability and coverage issues in well-organized and concise written work product
  • Trial preparation and courtroom experience, including file responsibility, motion practice, and deposition experience
  • Experience working with e-discovery software
  • Exceptional advocacy, research, writing, and negotiation skills
  • Strong academic credentials
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with a solid work ethic
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

The salary range for this position at the time of posting is $135,000 - $165,000 annually, based upon a full-time work schedule. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to employee qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition, Clark Hill offers employees the ability to participate in health insurance with optional HSA/FSA, short term disability, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, 401K, vacation, sick time, parking/public transportation allowance, and an employee assistance program.
