Job summary

Reed Smith LLP in Chicago seeks a Business Development Coordinator to support Insurance Recovery and related practice teams with marketing administration, pitches, events, and client communications. This role will coordinate requests for client/prospect research, bios, and graphic design, assist with pitches and proposals, and manage newsletters and social content.

The position collaborates across offices, oversees webinars, internal communications, and awards, and contributes to firm-wide

Qualifications

• College degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in a professional services marketing role is desirable.
• Strong organizational, time management and writing skills are required.
• Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support Insurance Recovery Group Business Development Managers on projects related to marketing and business development.
• Coordinate pitch materials, presentations and responses to RFPs with scheduling and editing support.
• Edit marketing collateral and bios for print, website and intranet; post updates as required.
• Coordinate webinars, events, invitations, and related materials in coordination with graphics and events teams.
• Manage CRM data, experience databases, newsletters, and internal communications.
• Draft and coordinate blog posts and social media for the Insurance Recovery group.
• Plan client seminars and events, including invitations, venue logistics, and day-of support.
• Travel for meetings and trainings as required.
• All other duties as assigned.
