• Must-have Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3+ years of experience managing staff and processes, with strategy development.
• Experience fostering positive vendor/internal relationships and collaboration.
• Ability to review and interpret complex information to inform decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage broker relationships to negotiate favorable terms and coverage.
• Analyze company risk exposure and develop mitigation strategies.
• Oversee insurance placement process with brokers, renewals, and quotes.
• Review vendor contracts for insurance requirements to protect company needs.
• Oversee property and environmental claims processes and timely reporting.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including self-insurance licensing.
• Train employees on insurance-related topics, coverage, claims, and risk.
• Direct supervision of risk management analysts.
• Collaborate with legal and finance for alignment on insurance matters.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in insurance and risk management.
