You will manage a broad docket, advise business leaders on litigation risk, and develop strategy for matters across the grocery, fuel, and pharmacy segments. You will lead with a practical, trial‑focused approach and collaborate with partners across the company.

This role requires JD from a U.S. law school, bar admission, and 5+ years of litigation experience, with strong negotiation,

Qualifikationen

• JD from an accredited U.S. law school.
• Active membership in good standing in at least one U.S. state bar.
• 5+ years of meaningful litigation experience.
• Experience independently managing litigation matters and advising on case strategy.
• Demonstrated ability to counsel business clients on litigation risk.
• Excellent judgment and analytical, strategic, writing, negotiation, and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Develop and execute litigation strategy for assigned matters, including evaluating risk and identifying strategic options.
• Take ownership of litigation matters from initial assessment through discovery, motions, mediation, trial, or other resolution.
• Manage outside counsel, including strategy, staffing, and cost‑effectiveness.
• Advise business leaders and Legal Department colleagues on litigation risk and strategies to mitigate disputes.
• Prepare company witnesses for depositions, hearings, investigations, and trials.
• Coordinate with eDiscovery and regulatory teams on preservation, collection, and review.
