Job summary

Korn Ferry is seeking an Insurance Product Development Consultant to strengthen product governance, support regulatory and filing activities, and drive cross-functional product initiatives in a fast-paced insurance environment.

This hands-on role partners with underwriting, operations, compliance, and technology teams to deliver coverage forms, endorsements, and lifecycle management, while advancing pricing strategies and market analysis.

Qualifications

• Experience in Property & Casualty insurance, in product development or related roles.
• Strong understanding of insurance products, coverage forms, endorsements, and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with state filing processes; SERFF experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and navigate ambiguity.
• Strong execution, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to balance strategic improvements with day-to-day issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Support product development activities, including coverage forms, endorsements, product documentation, and product lifecycle management.
• Provide regulatory filing and compliance support, including state filing requirements and issue resolution.
• Lead and coordinate initiatives across underwriting, operations, compliance, and technology teams.
• Drive execution of product-related projects, ensuring accountability and timely delivery.
• Conduct competitive and market analysis to identify product enhancements and growth opportunities.
• Assist with pricing and rate strategy initiatives and related implementation efforts.
• Help establish stronger product governance, processes, and decision-making frameworks.
