Job summary

JP Morgan Chase is seeking a Product Controls professional to support the Insurance Product within Business Banking. The role partners with Product, Legal, Risk, and Compliance to translate regulatory obligations into effective controls for delivery and ongoing operations.

You will assess requirements, identify risks, and help design and implement controls. The role includes procedures, reporting, and governance with clear ownership and action tracking.

Qualifications

• Translate policy, regulatory, and business requirements into process requirements and documented controls.
• Assess risks, design controls, and support implementation or testing of controls.
• Understand product development life cycle and incorporate controls into new builds.
• Collaborate across Product, Control Management, Legal, Compliance and other partners.
• Communicate control gaps clearly and track actions to resolution.
• Organize and maintain control documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Manage multiple requirements and dependencies as product plans evolve.

Responsibilities

• Assess policy and regulatory requirements with Legal and Compliance.
• Map requirements to controls and draft procedures with ownership and actions.
• Apply governance standards and incorporate them into the product operating model.
• Coordinate control requirements for Third Party Oversight and risk assessments.
• Identify risks along the Insurance Product journey with product teams.
• Draft control objectives and support design and testing with delivery teams.
• Develop control reporting and support execution, exceptions, and gaps.
• Provide updates on control readiness and escalate unresolved gaps.
