Role Description

The Insurance Producer is a full-time, remote role responsible for generating new business and managing existing client relationships across personal and commercial lines. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting needs assessments, and recommending appropriate coverage options. The Insurance Producer will prepare quotes, present proposals, and guide clients through the application and underwriting process. This role also involves ongoing account servicing, policy reviews, handling client inquiries, and coordinating with carriers to ensure accurate and timely policy issuance and renewals. The Insurance Producer is expected to maintain detailed records in the agency management system and uphold all regulatory and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Insurance Sales and general Insurance knowledge, with experience in personal and/or commercial lines.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to build trust, explain coverage clearly, and support clients effectively.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with Employee Benefits or related products, with the ability to discuss options and coordinate with employer clients.
• Active state insurance producer license (or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe) and understanding of insurance regulations and compliance requirements.
• Comfort with remote work, including proficiency in digital tools, CRM or agency management systems, and virtual meeting platforms.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with a focus on follow-through, accuracy, and meeting production goals.
• Prior experience in an insurance agency or brokerage environment is preferred; a background in sales, finance, or business is beneficial.
