Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related work experience.
• Proficient with MS Office & Excel.
• Exceptional telephone demeanor.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Must have and maintain a current P&C License for the required states.
• Independent insurance agency experience preferred.
• Property and Casualty Insurance Designation such as CISR, CRIS, AAI, or similar designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the procurement of alternative quotes and carrier options to retain existing insurance programs.
• Analyze market information to develop, design, and implement creative strategies for sales team members.
• Review existing policies and competing quotes to identify areas for improvement and evaluate options with sales team members and service representatives.
• Negotiate competitive coverage and pricing options with insurance carriers on behalf of clients.
• Provide sales and customer service teammates with market information and insights.
• Monitor, identify, and develop new methods, markets, and opportunities.
• Review producer or account manager submissions for completeness and accuracy.
• Determine appropriate insurance companies for account solicitation.
• Identify new markets through research and begin contracting with insurance companies or brokers when approved by management.
• Utilize and direct assistants in online rating and proposal creation.]
