Sentara Health in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking an Insurance Premium Payment Associate. You will respond to record and process telephonic payment inquiries, and handle both initial and ongoing payments for insurance products while delivering a high level of customer service.

You will work across multiple computer programs and adapt to changing call-center volume. The position requires one year of customer service experience, healthcare insurance/billing exposure, and detail orientation;

Qualifications

• One year of customer service experience in healthcare or related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

Overview:

Insurance Premium Payment Associate

Responds to record and process telephonic payment inquiries. Responsible for taking both initial and ongoing payments for insurance products while maintaining a high level of customer service. Responsible to work in multiple computer programs at a time. Must be able to maintain a high level of service to customers while managing changing volume demands of the call center.

One year customer service experience, computer skills & strong verbal skills required. Collections experience preferred. Must be detailed oriented.

• One (1) year of related experience Healthcare Insurance, billing
• One (1) year of strong Customer Service experience
