Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite.
• Preferred: Associate or Bachelor’s Degree.
• Industry software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with marketing of new business and renewal accounts by preparing insurance submissions including applications and loss runs.
• Submit submissions to carriers for quoting via email and online rating; follow up on quotations.
• Develop relationships with insurance carriers and gain knowledge of rating plans and programs, especially work comp loss sensitive plans.
• Negotiate pricing and coverage options on renewal accounts.
• Maintain open communication during carrier issues and assist with tracking new business and renewal activity.
• Organize marketing materials and update the Marketing Log; support agency management system usage.
