Job summary

NightOwl Consulting seeks an Insurance Operations Specialist to support Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, and Account Management with policy servicing, processing, documentation, and back-office operations.

This non-customer-facing role requires strong organization, process discipline, and comfort working across multiple insurance workflows while supporting internal stakeholders such as Account Managers, Loan Officers, and Operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in insurance operations, policy processing, or account support.
• Familiarity with personal and/or commercial lines insurance.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established workflows.
• Comfortable handling documentation, audits, and data accuracy tasks.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Experience with agency management systems is a plus (EZL or similar).
• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Policy Servicing & CSR Support (Non-Customer Facing).
• Process mortgagee clause updates and billing tweaks.
• Add or remove coverage, drivers, and vehicles; update VINs.
• Audit accounts, collect signatures, and process deadlines.
• Support Account Managers and Loan Officers; handle COIs and ACORD forms.
• Complete policy checks, endorsements, and post-bind documentation.
• Track licenses, reconcile commissions, and assist with back-office tasks.
