Job summary

AIPSO is seeking a senior management professional to oversee the operations of assigned Plans in the auto insurance residual market. You will supervise staff, set priorities, ensure compliance, and drive efficiency across processes, data entry, audits, and customer inquiries.

Requirements include a BA/BS with保险 education preferred and 5+ years in automobile insurance with supervisory experience. This is a full-time, on-site leadership role in Rhode Island.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university with supplementary insurance education preferred.
• 5 or more years' experience in the automobile insurance industry with supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall operation of assigned Plans, including supervision of employees and setting work priorities.
• Plan, develop, monitor, and assure compliance with policy and procedures on tasks such as policy amendments, data entry, audits, and production services.
• Meet with staff regularly to discuss progress and ensure quality and quantity standards are met.
• Develop and direct training programs for staff development.
• Monitor workload and adjust staff assignments to ensure efficient operations.
• Prepare materials for boards and committees and may attend meetings as needed.
• Represent the Plan at deposition, court cases, and Insurance Department hearings when necessary.
